Since it opened in 2004, La Zeppa has been the ultimate in neighbourhood location - central to both sides of the city, without being in the city. It offers a menu that will cover that after work drink or a full dinner experience. Just the menu you need, in a location that works for everyone - what a great concept for a restaurant!

In fact, La Zeppa is the leading innovator in the 'small plate menu. More than just tapas, the well rounded menu offers hot & cold small plates, ideal for appetizers or snacks, all the way through to larger sharing plates which can be complemented with vegetable or salad dishes for a full dinner.

Our favourite menu item is the 'Duck Platter', where you can enjoy duck cooked in four different ways - everyone’s favourite duck style is on this platter! In fact, La Zeppa were the first restaurant to offer the Duck Drumette - a tasty morsel of duck, fantastic for a taste sensation.

But there’s more to La Zeppa that just the food - the La Zeppa space is definitely unique, with high ceilings, warming brick walls and a harmonious fireplace. Somehow, even when it’s busy, the space feels intimate. But maybe that has something to do with the centrally located kitchen - you can see everything being cooked right in the middle of the restaurant - that's really bringing you into their world!

We’ve always been a great fan of their wine list - so many wines are available by the glass, everyone can choose something to match with their food selection.

We highly recommend La Zeppa as a great place to enjoy well cooked duck, with a fine wine to match.
